At PawDex ("we," "us," or "our"), we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it through our compliance with this policy. This Privacy Policy describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you use the PawDex mobile application (the "App") and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.

Our App is designed with a "local-first" architecture. We collect several types of information from and about users of our App, primarily consisting of:

  • Personal Information: Information by which you may be personally identified, such as name or email address. This is ONLY collected if you opt-in to optional cloud backups or create a community account.
  • Pet Data: Information regarding your pet's breed, age, weight, and feeding schedule. This data is stored locally on your device by default.
  • Usage Details: Anonymized analytical data detailing how you interact with the App, used strictly for diagnosing bugs and improving user experience.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To present our App and its contents to you.
  • To provide you with personalized pet nutrition insights and feeding schedules.
  • To fulfill any other purpose for which you provide it.

3. Disclosure of Your Information

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your Personally Identifiable Information. We may disclose aggregated, anonymized information about our users without restriction.
